About this event:

This session will explore the life cycles of public innovation labs, from its planned parenthood and early years to its maturity and final days.

This exploration is a result of the gathering and research with ofover 40 innovation teams and practitioners from 10 different countries from Latin America, Canada and Portugal by the joint work of (011).Lab and GNova.

We will share first-hand the findings and insights of this practice-led investigation soon to be launched as a publication. It is also a call to continue and expand that conversation among the authors, practitioners and innovation teams worldwide. We invite you to join us to explore the path of innovation units and the questions and challenges it raises, starting with birth, going through childhood, teenage years, maturity and death.

The session will be presented by the multidisciplinary research team:

Caio Werneck - Public Innovation and Design researcher
Elisabete Ferrarezi - Public Policy Specialist (PhD)
Isabella Brandalise - Civic innovation and public imagination consultant
Lucas Vaqueiro - Director of Methods and Competencies, (011.Lab)
